This Is The Best Railway Company In Europe According To A New Survey

Rated top among 27 different railway operators by NGO Transport and Environment

NGO Transport and Environment this week announced that Italy-based Trenitalia was named the best railway company in Europe, topping a list of 27 railway companies from around the continent.

According to the Italian news agency ANSA, Trenitalia, according to the NGO, offers one of the best quality-price ratios on the continent and excels in almost all categories, except for the offer for those traveling with bicycles.

Eight criteria were used to evaluate companies on medium and long-distance routes, the most important of which is the price of tickets.

Eurostar on the other hand came in last, in part due to a lack of reliability in operations.
