Waterfall Delights Italy Tourists As Warmer Weather Arrives In Cortina d’Ampezzo
10,580 foot waterfall heralds the unofficial start of Spring in Cortina
One of the host cities for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics is looking more like a spring mountain paradise instead a snowy region ready for events like ski jumping.
Spring has arrived in Cortina d’ Ampezzo with the annual arrival of the Tofana di Rozes waterfall measuring more than 10,580 feet.
According to the Italian news agency ANSA, “The waterfall is a spectacle that every year fascinates the people of Cortina and the lucky tourists who, at that very moment, are guests of the Queen of the Dolomites.”
“A jet of crystalline water that from the tip of Rozes plunges into the void for hundreds of meters, visible from the city,” added the news outlet.
